Bent Tree Bluffs Stingrays Mission Statement:
The Bent Tree Bluffs Stingrays are dedicated to organizing a summer recreational swim program that provides a fun, welcoming, and inclusive environment for swimmers of all skill levels. As a recreational swim league, our focus is on participation, enjoyment, and personal growth, while introducing athletes to the foundations of competitive swimming in a supportive setting.
Our team strives to support the personal development of each swimmer by encouraging discipline, commitment, confidence, and a love for the sport both in and out of the water. We emphasize learning and improvement over competition results, helping swimmers build skills at their own pace while enjoying the experience of being part of a team.
Through structured practices and friendly, recreational swim meets, the our team provides meaningful opportunities for participation, achievement, and recognition. These events are designed to be positive, encouraging, and age-appropriate, allowing swimmers to experience competition in a healthy and enjoyable way.
Above all, the Bent Tree Bluff Stingrays are committed to cultivating a strong spirit of teamwork, sportsmanship, and community, where swimmers, families, and coaches come together to create a fun, supportive, and memorable summer experience for all.
Along with the eight other teams of the Suburban Swim League, we aim to provide a safe, fun and fair environment in which our children develop swimming skills and an appreciation for the sport.
